| Abstract: | The red lionfish was captured in the northeast Colombian Caribbean,
in “El Yoyo” fishing ground, located in La Guajira peninsula (Riohacha). The Guajira continental shelf,
located between Santa Marta and Venezuela, should be a stepping area for lionfish pelagic larvae. |
