| Abstract: | Se presenta el análisis de la información obtenida a partir del muestreo en cada una de las zonas durante las capturas históricas de E. imbricata en Cuba. Si bien algunas veces resultan incompletos, ofrecen nuevas ideas sobre los impactos de las capturas sobre la composición por tallas, así como en la proporción por sexo de la población capturada. Los resultados son importantes para cualquier evaluación que se efectúe de los probables impactos en la tan reducida captura que tiene lugar en la actualidad.
The sampling data taken from each Zone during the historical harvest of E. imbricata in Cuba, although sometimes incomplete, provide insights into the impacts of harvesting on the size structure and sex ratio of the population harvested. The results are important to any assessment of the likely impacts of the much reduced traditional harvest now in place. |
