| Abstract: | Se efectúa una revisión de los cinco volúmenes de la FAO sobre peces comerciales
del Atlántico centro-occidental, confirmándose la presencia en el sur del Caribe de 39 especies que no son registradas de esta zona o cuyo rango de distribución no incluye ciertas áreas donde han sido encontradas. Seis de éstas son citadas por primera vez para el Caribe colombiano.
FAG's five volumcs on the commercial fishes of the western central Atlantic are reviewed. The existence of 39 species not reported from certain areas of the southern Caribbean is confirmed in this paper. Six of these are reported for the first time from the Colombian Caribbean. |
