| Abstract: | Se realizaron colecciones de porcelánidos en una zona costera de aproximadamente 50 km alrededor de Santa Marta, Colombia. Se comprobó la presencia de 23 especies de 8 géneros, de las cuales 2J son reportes nuevos para Colombia y II nuevos para la costa continental de Suramérica. Dos especies parecen nuevas. Con P. brasiliensis se
comprueba por primera vez la presencia del género Pisidia en el Caribe y Petrolisthes
totisorius se reporta por primera vez en ei Atlántico. Se dan claves para los géneros y
las especies encontradas. Con este trabajo el número tota! de especies de porcelánidos reportados del Caribe se aumenta de 31 a 35.
Collections of porcellanid crabs were made along a coastat área of about 50 km in length aroumí Santa Marta, Colombia. As a result 28 species from eight genera are now known to occur ¡n the working arca; 23 of them are new for Colombia and 11 new for the South American continental coast. Two species seem previously unreported, P. brasiliencis is the first species of the genus Pisidia found m caribbean waters, and P. tonsorius is reported for the first time from the Atlantic. Keys are provided for the identificatíon of the genera and species included herein. With the present study the total of porcellanid species known from the Caribbean rises from 31 to 35. |
