As part of the ecological survey of Point Fort Williams, where the Scientific Station Pedro Vicente Maldonado is located, a study of plant coberture has been initiated with the aim of determine it's qualitative and quantitative distribution. In the present study five and nineteen species of masses and lichens, belonging to four and eleven families respectively are described. These species appear to be the more common and representative of the studied region. |
