| Abstract: | This is the first report of the presence of Penaeus monodon off the Guajira Peninsula in the Colombian Caribbean. Three specimens were collected near Cabo de la Vela and one in Punta Gallinas at the continental shelf, while trawling for shrimps.
Este es el primer reporte de la presencia de Penaeus monodon frente a la península de la Guajira en el Caribe colombiano. Tres especímenes fueron recolectados cerca de Cabo de la Vela y uno en Punta Gallinas en la plataforma continental, mientras que la pesca de arrastre para camarones. |
