| Résumé: | Las Islas del Rosario se encuentran a 29 millas del suroeste de Cartagena, Colombia/Suramerica. Son de origen reciente y su edad no pasa mucho de 10000 años. Las Islas; la Periquito, la Arenas, la Rosario y la Tesoro, rodean en una distancia de una a dos millas a la Isla Grande. Esta, la principal, se encuentra entrecortada de sur a norte por caños en los cuales las aguas empujan casi todo el año en dirección hacia el norte. Todas las islas están rodeadas de arrecifes coralinos. Hasta ahora el autor encontró 48 especies y variaciones de Scleractinias y 3 Milleporas. Las condiciones ecológicas de las Islas del Rosario favorecen un crecimiento vigoroso de arrecifes.
The Rosario Islands are located 29 miles southwest of Cartagena, Colombia / South America. Are of recent origin and age do not spend a lot of 10000 years. Islands, the Parrot, the Arenas, the rosariio and the Treasury, at a distance of around one to two miles to the Big Island. This, the principal, is broken from south to north for piped water in which most of the year push towards north. All islands are surrounded by coral reefs.
