| Abstract: | A study of gammaridean amphipods samples obtained from marine and estuarine environments of Venezuela revealed the existence of fiveteen species that had not been previously reported for this country. A systematic list is presented as well as a description of the substrate where the species were found.
El estudio de numerosas muestras de anfípodos gammarídeos colectados en diversos hábitats marinos y estuarinos de Venezuela reveló la presencia de quince especies señaladas por primera vez para el país. Se presenta una lista sistemática de las especies, así como información sobre el tipo de sustrato donde se encontraron. |
