| Abstract: | In this manual a Standard Library Directory Record Structure is proposed, for use in the preparation of databases of libraries and information centres. The structure is designed to be, as far as is possible, independent of the software used. Provision is made for additional fields for local needs. The structure incorporates the section of the Standard Directory Record Structure for organizations, individuals and their research interests which deals with organizations (MIM Publication Series Volume 4). |
