| Abstract: | The Global Ocean Surface Underway Data Project continues to develop towards full capabilities to manage the surface data collected by ships while traversing from port to port. The URL of the web site is www.gosud.org
At the last SOT meeting, the Annual Report for 2002 was presented. The annual report for 2003 has been completed and is posted at
http://www.gosud.org/doc/GOSUD_2003_Report.doc
The report for 2004 is in preparation and will appear at the same URL in the third quarter of 2005.
This overview will provide updates of activities of GOSUD and how it continues to develop.
With some financial support from IODE, meetings of GOSUD participants were held in November, 2003 and in September, 2004 in conjunction with Argo meetings in Monterey, USA and Southampton, UK. The reports of the meetings are available from the same URL as noted above. |
