| Abstract: | El presente trabajo pretende dar a conocer los resultados de la distribución estacional cuantitativa del fitoplancton (diatomeas y dinoflagelados), y su relación con masas de agua, dadas por temperatura y salinidad, desde 1989 hasta 1993 en una estación fija costera La Libertad, período en el cual se presentó un evento "El Niño" 1991-1992.
The present paper is related to "El Niño" regional Study (ERFEN), about Diatoms and Dinoflagellates density and distribution estimated in cellular counts (cel/l.), in La Libertad (2°S and 81°01'01'43W milles offshore), during 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993, along a water column from the surface to 75 m. depth. During this time "El Niño" 1991-1992 was present. In the annual cycle 1989, 1990, 1992 and 1993 two maxime of celular count were present: one short one (november-december-january) and an other long one (april-may-jun-july-agoust) during summer time. the Diatoms were more abundant in the phytoplankton. The genera more dominant were Nitzschia, Rhizosolenia, Leptocylindrua, Hemialux and Chaetoceros. Dinoflagellates were not dominant in the water sample. |
