This study was made in order to evaluate the degree of tocixity of the BP 1100 WD petroleum dispersant, through a biossay under laboratory conditions. The half-letal concentration (CL50) was obtained in this way. For this purpose, microcells of the Tetraselmis sp. from the Gulf Guayaquil were used. the evalues obtained through the Bliss statistical method are shown in Table 1. The result of CL50 = 2.08 PPM. Standard error = ± 1.04 PPM. The variance of CL50= 0.0175959. The value of Ch²(X²) was 5.1598, whose value is less than Pearson's table. For reason, we accept the hypothesis of the existence of homogenity in the sampled population and the value of CL50 is statistically valid. The value of the mortality curve was: y= 5.0736 ±(1.7679) (X-0.2760) Furthermone, arithmetic graphic calculation and logarithmc calculation were perfomed. |
