dc.description.abstract | The interdependence between filtering rate and respiration of the Mediterranean mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis, Lamarck) under various water temperature conditions was studied in the Kerch Strait. The quantitative parameters of the power equations, which draw a relation between the dependence of the studied function from the body mass in the water temperature range 7–14 °С, were determined. In the indicated temperature range, the intensity of filtration (IF) and of oxygen intake (IR) increase, whereas the ratio F/R (filtering rate index) varies in relatively insignificant range — from 7.97 to 8.39. Stable relation between the filtration and respiration rates in the course of natural seasonal rhythm is indicative of synchronicity of changes in filtering and metabolic rates in the context of changing water temperature. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Исследована взаимосвязь скорости фильтрации и дыхания черноморской мидии (Mytilus galloprovincialis, Lamarck) при различной температуре воды в Керченском проливе. Определены количественные параметры степенных уравнений, связывающие зависимость исследованных функций от массы тела в интервале температуры воды 7–14 °С. В указанном интервале температур интенсивность фильтрации (IF) и потребления кислорода (IR) возрастают, тогда как отношение F/R (индекс фильтрационной активности) варьирует в сравнительно незначительных пределах — от 7,97 до 8,39. Устойчивое соотношение интенсивности фильтрации и дыхания в ходе естественного сезонного ритма свидетельствует о синхронности изменений интенсивности фильтрации и метаболизма в условиях изменяющейся температуры воды. | en_US |
