dc.description.abstractThe findings are presented of a study conducted to investigate the quality of the water at the Ramisi Estuary, which is affected by effluents from a sugar factory. The river was found to be polluted all year round by these wastes and the need for proper treatment of the waste before discharging is stressed.en
